Welcome to cruisecritic Gooch08!! This website is a gold mine of info to enchance your cruising experience.

St. Martin is a port that offers alot of options and that's why it's one of the more popular ones. The island offers alot of things to do.

Are you and your boyfriend beach people? Like water activities? Shopping? sightseeing? St. Martin offers it all.

Please give some more info on what you like to do and we can narrow the suggestions down.

Welcome!!

A really great start would be to read thru the first thirty or so

of 4,321 posts about St.Maarten

to see what others have already contributed! :)

It's all been said, done, answered a hundred times already, honey!

And if that fails you, simply take an island tour

-always the best bet for a first-timer visiting any island.

I hope the previous poster was kidding when he said "Do the Island Tour".

If you want to pay for a good nap, then do this tour.

I think it was called "Under Two Flags", and it was bad.

A bus ride to a shopping area, open market on the other side of the island, with minimal history thrown in.

My daughter was ready to kill me after this one.

Find something else.

Later

Safe travels.
