Taxi or Super Shuttle to San Pedro from LAX

We are coming in to LAX this Friday. We are staying at Double Tree San Pedro. Which should we do? Super Shuttle, Taxi or what? Thanks. :)

If you don't mind a slight delay waiting for others to arrive to fill up the van, Super Shuttle is fine. Cost is about $34 before tip for two people. There are coupon codes on this site that will lower it a few bucks. If you want a quick ride in a more comfortable vehicle, try Xpress Shuttle on the Super Shuttle website. Also called Execucar. It's $48 for 1-5 passengers before tip. No sharing, just your party rides in the vehicle. Highly recommend it for late at night arrivals.

We have had great success using Supper Shuttle from LAX to the hotels in San Pedro plus for two people it is the most economical. If you do a search on this board you will find a discount code that you can use...it will just about cover the tip.

Can't beat the service of Zippy shuttle and the price is great also. No waiting for others either. You can e-mail them at zippyshuttle at gmail dot com.

If you go with a taxi you spend more money but you leave the airport right away and get to the hotel sooner rather than later. If you are not in a rush and want to spend less money take a shuttle. And if you want to spend a little more arrange for a private car. There is no right or wrong on this. It all comes down to what you want to do.
