Urgent question, re Mercury Sky Suite

Thinking of booking 1221 (it's all that's left). On X's website it says the SS has a 179 sq ft balcony. SOME SS's will have a 69 sq ft balcony. That's quite a difference.

Does anyone know how to tell what size balcony a particular SS has?

Called X on the phone. Sorry to say it but the agent was well, she was clue-impaired.

Thank you

We had 1218 last October and it is right across the ship from 1221. All the Sky deck Sky Suite verandahs have the bigger balconies. The Sky Suites with the smaller verandahs are on lower decks. Book it! It's a great cabin. And you get a cool butler. Hopefully you can get David like we did. He rocked!

Hurry and book it.

In addition to what Dr. Koob says - look at the deck plans or the photos on this page to see that it is one of the larger balconies on Sky Deck 12. It is even better than the largest as the small "cut out" will give you a broader view off the deck.

I'm presuming that Mercury is the same as the Galaxy deck plans for that deck (Galaxy has since been transferred out of Celebrity to another RCL affiliate).

Thanks!

Does anyone know....on the Mercury Penthouse Suites, and Sky Suites, is there any bar set-up that comes with the suites, ie bottled waters, booze, etc?

Last, and only time, I was in a Sky Suite on a Celebrity ship was in March '08. They didn't not include any beverages that there was a charge for elsewhere on the ship, except for Espresso type coffees. They did have a stocked mini-bar with the usual pay per item used selection.

JEDIKNIGHT,

The sky suites on Deck 12 have larger verandahs than the sky suites on Deck 10. We had friends on Deck 12 and their balcony was quite large.

Re the bar set-up - neither the Penthouse nor the Sky Suites had complimentary bar set-ups (both had the normal minibar where you pay based on consumption). Note: In my previous stay in a Penthouse Suite on the Century we were provided with 2 complimentary bottles (scotch and vodka) - but that was a few years ago.
