Pre cuise attractions in fort laderdale?

Landing in Fort Lauderdale on 2-12-10, staying at the Sheraton Airport/Cruise Hotel for the night before we embark on the Crown Princess on 2-13.

 

My wife and I were wondering what attractions we can take in on the

12th in Fort Lauderdale?

Last year we spent the day before our cruise in Fort Lauderdale. We rented a car and did a swamp tour to see the alligators on an airboat. It was a great fun and quite inexpensive.

We have taken the Jungle Queen .... which is bit touristy but also interesting for a first time visit. link

I've done the Jungle Queen - touristy, but fun if you get into the spiritof it.
