Taxi ride from Fll to the port????

Hello, my question is what is the cost for a taxi from FLL airport to the cruise ships in port everglades? Is there another rounte to take other then taxi? What is cost for any type of transfer to the ships?

Don't purchase cruiseline transfers; they are way too expensive. A cab from the airport to the ship should be less than $20.

The airport and the cruise ship pier are very close to one another. Our cab fare coming the other way was $11.30 metered, plus tip.

A cab is the easiest and least expensive means of getting from FLL to the terminal. You'll find them lined up outside the baggage claim, and the dispatcher will take care of getting you into a cab that will fit you and your luggage. The cost should be around $12. Just in case the driver wants to take the "scenic route," tell him that it cost you that much last time. I know of a case where the trip wound up costing $23 ... so protect your wallet! Have a great cruise.
