When do you find out which cabin

We booked balcony guarantee and would like to find out when you get assigned a cabin. Also, how do you find out? We cruise is 66 days. Thanks

Have you logged into your profile and looked at your booking? I assume you are past final payment, so if it hasnt been already assigned, it should be soon. Its very rare you dont find out until you board.

The only time I booked a gty it was assigned to me within 10 minutes(I have a very good PVP) and just happened to be the very cabin that I had told him would be nice to get.;) I think the norm is anytime after final payment up to the sailing date.

Yes, I did check my booking on carnival's website and cabine in not assigned yet. Just hoping for a non obstructed view since it is our first balcony.

I recently did a gty with Carnival. I got my assignment at 55 days. But someone had mentioned to be sure and fill out all your registration info on the online site which I did at day 57. HTH Jess

Do you mean the "fun passes"? I did them already.

We've gotten ours right after final payment but others have said they found out at the pier so sit could be either.

I think it just varies. I paid in full when I booked at around 95 days out. Filled out the fun pass things at about 80 days out. And it wasn't until yesterday that I got my gty balcony assignment at 53 days out. We ended up in an 8D, which I'm very happy with.

 

I'd think you'd hear pretty soon. I just checked my account online about 27x a day until the room showed up. One day it was "TBA" and the next it was there. They didn't email me or anything.

we just finally got ours 18 days out. Hopefully you get it sooner than we did!

We usually find out just after final payment. Once I did not get official word until we got to the pier, but I suspect that is because we booked inside and they had us in an outside and were hoping to sell the outside but never did. So we got it for the price of an inside guarantee! I do think that is kind of rare.
