We just got back from here. The drive was not even 10 minutes, cost $10 each way for the two of us. The cost for the day pass was definitely $35pp, $70 total for the both of us. We received 10% off at the restaurant as well as $10 each in the casino. We had a great time, I was able to get marriott points for everything there and we felt it was well worth it.

Thanks for review. Can you tell me if you spent more time at beach or pool area?

How was beach as far as "pretty" can clear, turquoise etc? sandy, waves etc.

Crowd?

We are deciding between Marriott and Cockleshell, and I think my parents would be more comfortable there. My dad in fact likes casinos-you mentioned that- comfortable atmosphere?

I heard about a room rate for a day..any info on that?

Thanks, sorry for all the questions-but you are a great source of info.

No problem! We actually spent more time at the pool than the beach, but we did utilize both. The pool was so relaxing and the water temperature was perfect!

The water at the beach was very nice and the beach was very clean. The sand was VERY hot... like it BURNED our feet! The thing is, the beach is public, so if you don't want to utilize the Marriott's facilities you don't have to pay to use the beach. That being said, there are vendors on the beach. They don't bother you as much as they do on other beaches, but they are there!

The casino was very clean and comfortable. It wasn't crowded when we were there at all.

We didn't inquire about the room rate for the day. I can't imagine it being less than the day rate of $35pp.

How do you go about booking Marriott resort for the day and how much does it cost and what is included.

You can click on this site

http://www.stkittstourstore.com/tours_offered/tours_marriott_day_pass.php

Day passes are available when occupancy levels allow and include the use of a room and all of the facilities at the hotel.

For more information about the St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino, visit the property's website at http://www.stkittsmarriott.com, call 1-869-446-1200 or send a fax to 1-869-466-1201. The resort's “Day Pass” is available (occupancy permitting) for a seasonally adjusted charge and permits a maximum of four persons per room to use the room and all resort facilities until 6 p.m. on the day of arrival.

My husband loves going to the different casinos, and he always takes a chip home as a souvenir. We also love to swim so I thought this would be a great excursion for both of us but when I look at their website it sounded as if the casino didn't open until nighttime. Can you tell me if it's open all day? We're looking on going there early, as soon as the ship docks.

I just got back from a cruise that stopped in St Kitts. My sister and I and our 2 kids got a day pass at the Marriott. The cost was $65 plus tax (total was $77) for the four of us. For the price we got a room for the day, use of the pools and the beach facilities. We booked in advance. the reservation person said we had to call the day before, but when I said I would be at sea, she spoke to the supervisor and let us book it. It was absolutely lovely.

Thanks for posting! I would like to get the room as well, especially if we can get the guest prices for 9 holes of golf. What a great day that would be...golf, beach and snorkeling all at the Marriott! I will give them a call as it gets closer to our cruise.

They just informed me at the Tour Store that they wouldn't be accepting Day Passes on 10/31. I wondered why and read the post above regarding accomodation allowance and figure they must be full??? Bummer. Wonder if I would get a similar answer if I contact Marriott Direct? Anyone have an email for ST Kitts Marriott? Does anyone know if that 866 # above is toll free?

Thanks!

I know for a fact that they do not offer the passes during peak times like Christmas break.
