Welcome to the club brother boba! 52 is the new 16 or so I tell my wife. :DAlso love the polls..keep 'em comin'..:)

You will find that, for the next few years at least, the average age of CC members will be at least ten years younger that those persons on any given cruise. This is because younger persons at the moment tend spend more time on computers.

As an example, ten years ago I saw no use for a computer, period!:D

On our latest cruise (1/24/10), the passengers seemed pretty much in our demographic (I'm 59; he's 61). It was a really old crowd, but maybe because it was a 12 night?

But I love CC, and the range of experience/ages of people here! Thanks for the poll!

I think your poll would be more informative if you hadn't lumped everyone 56+ together. I'm 60, and before her last cruise (at age 84), my mother visited CC.

Women,, never tell anyone your real age,, do what I do,, I add 5 or 6 years...

 

If I am 45 but tell people I am 50 they are more likely to think " hey , she looks good for 50" as opposed to " yes, she looks 45 alright" LOL

 

Now, that said,, I think somewhere on this board I did tell my real age,, but it would take a lot of sleuthing to find it out,, LOL

 

I have never felt out of place on any cruise I have taken, admittedly only on Carnival and Princess, but on ships with thousands, I find those lines seem to have a good spread of ages.
