Celebrity Points When Booking

Hi- I've searched this but can't find anything. I made a test booking yesterday with a travel site and received 6832 points for booking.

 

My question is- Is 6832 points worth a t-shirt or is it $200

 

anybody know how the point system works? If this has been asked 978 times I apologize.

What Points? What for - on your Visa card, or what?

I do not understand your question. Are you referring to American Express or a charge card point system? There is not a Celebrity point system other than for the Captain's Club.....

They're called choice points and are given by the travel agency. It says good towards onboard credit or gifts?

Then it is a program by your travel agency. It is not something from Celebrity so you would have to check with them to see what you can get for the points

No apologies necessary!

 

It sounds as though you have used the same internet site that I always use (love them!). 6200 points equals $100 in OBC. A better value for the points (in my opinion) is using them towards bottles of wine. I have enough points for five bottles, and that's pretty cool! :p

BTW... a few weeks after booking your cruise, you will receive an e-mail with a log-on account to access the "choice points" store. There you will see what your points can "buy".

Well that's a cool system. You can then choose your incentive. Good idea. I need to mention to my TA,( family member) that her compition gives away part of their comish!
