MTD but we WANT to sit at large tables?

My friend and I booked MTD only for the ease of being flexible with excursions, getting ready for dinner, etc. We also want to sit and eat with other people though.

 

I keep reading that most people at MTD want to eat alone. Will it be hard to find tables of other cruisers to eat with?

We requested any size table to be flexible. Most nights we were at large tables of 8 or 10. Sometimes we ended up with a few of the same people we had dinner with on another evening. We had the same 2 waiters and same 2assistant waiters depending on where we were seated so they always knew your preferences - just like the MDR.

It appears that you can now reserve your MTD experience for different times each night.... works on our next sailing.... the option of sitting alone or with others is given.

The problem with MTD will be if OTHERS want to eat with you! There may be nights when you will be alone, if no one else is feeling sociable!

Thanks everyone! Our online MTD opens up March 5th so I'll play around with the system a little bit. We understand that some days we'll sit alone but don't mind the company.
