Chops filet in main dining room?

We were on AOS last spring and you could order the Chops filrt in the main dining room for an extra charge. Does anyone know if that is an option on the Explorer?

on the Jewel last October. The steak was wonderful and IMHO worth the extra $$. Hey, it's vacation .... you'd spend $14.95 on a couple of car washes at home! :)

Sure is!!! We've had it a couple times recently on Ex and it is quite yummy!

And also unlike some "fancy" steak places back home you aren't paying $10 for a baked potato or other side dish and don't get me started on desert. :)

Some people travel as a group and perhaps not all of them want to pay the surcharge. Just another option for those who want the better steak and still want to eat with their traveling partners :)

Good points I had not thought of. Someone was kind enough to post the 7 day menus. Now I can pick out which nights I want to go to Portofino and Chops. Some nights don't look too pleasing, to me.

Don't count too much on the menus being offered in exactly the same order. There are more than seven basic menus and while the first and last night's menus might be the ones shown, the chefs have some freedom in choosing which ones to offer on the other nights and menus may vary according to the itinerary or length of the cruise. If you go to Portofino or Chops to make your reservations, you can see the main dining room menus for each night of your cruise and make your decisions at that time.
