Recently, someone from a HAL cruise on which I had arranged a meet and greet asked about setting one up on a Princess cruise this September. He indicated that Princess is now charging for refreshments. While the charge was nominal ($2/pp), I do not recall other lines doing so. The last two HAL cruises on which I set up M&Ms provided refreshments at no charge (the Zaandam to Hawaii even threw in complimentary mimosas).

 

Does Princess now charge for this service?

Princess has always charged for drinks.

They provide a place/waitstaff and a cash bar. :)
