ccmermaid Posted May 4, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 4, 2010 Can I get cash using my Sea Pass in the casino? How much do they charge? Thanks!
Toto2Kansas Posted May 4, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 4, 2010 3% if you charge cash to your onboard account, no service charge if you download money to be charged to your account for the slots.
hac82 Posted May 8, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 8, 2010 3% if you charge cash to your onboard account, no service charge if you download money to be charged to your account for the slots. When you say charge to your account for the slots, does that mean tht you can use your seapass card to play the slots? How does that work? What would happen if you downloaded money to play the slots, play for a short time and cash out?

You put your card in and can add credits to it. The amount is debited to your shipboard account. If you had a credit balance on your casino account, you would have to redeem it before you got off the ship or you would loose it. The credit would not effect the individual debits you would make. Think of it like buying something on the ship. Bob

Yes, you open a slot bank with your cruise card (not actually called a 'sea pass' card on Princess though), instructions are on each slot machine how to do this. You can cash out whenever you like, at the cashiers cage, and take the cash. ;)
cruisin36 Posted May 8, 2010 #6 Share Posted May 8, 2010 You do not have to play the slots, even for a short time. Just insert your card and punch in the amount you want, check cashout and take your card to the cage. They will give you cash.
scmexico Posted May 8, 2010 #7 Share Posted May 8, 2010 Another good casino tip is to buy casino credits for yourself online at Princess. When you get on board they will be in your room in $100 increments if you choose. Take them to the casino cage and cash them and you will get chips. You probably can cash these into cash immediately but I always play for a bit and then cash them for dollars. No charge.

They gave us cash, not chips, when we went to the cashier cage.
