New carnival polcy on 1a cabins - now being charged 200%

I haven't been back on the boards since I returned from my last cruise on Carnival last week and just found out about this today when I was looking to book another cruise.

 

Yes, it will affect my future cruise plans! I've sailed all my 19 cruises with Carnival and have loved every one of them. But now without the reduced pricing for the 1A cabins, I will look more closely at other lines. Just like every business has to look out for what will be more profitable to them, I will look for the cruise line that gives me the most vacation value as a consumer.

Since I don't book 1A cabins it would have no affect on me.
