VickiD59 Posted June 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2010 I know there have been numerous posts on here where someone has cut and pasted the information re: phone # and menu for bottles purchased thru the Bon Voyage Dept. My question is, where is this list originated from? Is it on Carnivals website somewhere? I'm going to be traveling in about 6 weeks and my fellow travelers are wanting to see this list for themselves from somewhere other than what can be found posted here on Cruise Critic. Somewhere on Carnivals site this list must exist... no? When I search the words "bon voyage dept" I get the regular listing for merchandise. Any suggestions..... thank ya... thank ya very much :D
Talli Posted June 10, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2010 IDK why it is not on Carnival's website but the lists on here are correct. I know because I called and wrote down the price list myself which I am sure others did and then were nice enough to share with everyone here on this site :). If feel better by seeing the information for yourself on an "official" website it's not going to happen, but I do understand the need for that, lol. Just call BV Dept and they will be happy give you all the information you want. Talli
firefly333 Posted June 10, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 10, 2010 Yep, your friends can call and just get verbal confirmation of any prices they want to confirm if they dont want you to print out a list generated from CC.
NewYorkDenise Posted June 10, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 10, 2010 I actually just did this today and I couldn't find it on the website, so I decided to sign in (you can create your account so that you can view your documents, and see your cruse info). Once I signed in I was able to find bon voyage. I think it was on the bottom of the screen. You have to click around once there to see what you have purchase, drink coupons, alcohol, gift baskets. I couldn't find the drink coupons at first, so I plugged it in in the search bar and it came up. I don't know that you can view bon voyage w/out signing in, but I'm not sure. Ashleezmom Posted June 10, 2010 #13 Share Posted June 10, 2010 Can you get Bailey's Irish Cream? It is my wifes favorite. I ordered Irish Cream for my upcoming Alaska cruise, but they couldn't tell me what brand name it would be...up to the port (Seattle). I guess it will be a little surprise when I get there. $45 for the bottle. And i paid only $55 for Jack Daniels for my hubby. No tax in this port. Earthworm Jim Posted June 10, 2010 #14 Share Posted June 10, 2010 Can you get Bailey's Irish Cream? It is my wifes favorite. I've seen a couple of posts saying Irish Creme is available. I don't know whether it is Bailey's or some other brand though. You can call and ask.

The prices may have fluctuated, but at least it gives you an idea: ___________ Tequila: 1800 - $55 Margaritaville $40 Salsa Hornitas (Sp) $60 Patron Silver $70 ___________________________ afcj1, As a minor update, I called about the tequilas and was told the 1800 and Patron are both 750ml, not a full liter. The Margaritaville and Sauza Hornitas (that's the corrected spelling) are 1 liter bottles. Thanks for posting this info for everyone's reference. Even if it's not official, it gives us an idea of what we want to ask about when we call the Bon Voyage Dept.
divingmedic Posted June 10, 2010 #16 Share Posted June 10, 2010 they are liter size Well at least for the prices they are charging they could offer a better quality of rum other than Bicardi, Capt Morgans and Malibu. No Cruzan rum offered?

LemurCat Posted June 20, 2010 #20 Share Posted June 20, 2010 IDK why it is not on Carnival's website but the lists on here are correct. Probably because they want you to go to the bar and pay bar prices for each individual drink. That's my best guess.
crzndeb Posted June 20, 2010 #21 Share Posted June 20, 2010 Divingmedic, While it does seem like a huge markup on the bottles, if you were to order a malibu and coke at the bar, it is over $6 with the gratuity. I'm sure the cruise line would be more than happy that you buy your drinks at the bar. I ordered a bottle of Absolute Vodka on my recent 2 week Panama Canal cruise and it definitely cut down my bar bill a lot. I still bought the occasional martini before dinner, but buying the bottle made a hug difference. I plan on buying from Bon Voyage again for my upcoming Spirit cruise. Also - I read people saying they could buy 3 bottles of wine at a discount, but I can only find the 5 bottle one.
