Rare shipshape sam Posted June 17, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 17, 2010 Just became Elite can someone tell me about Michael's Club on Solstice class ships? Thanks so much Very nice club for Elites like yourself :) to go both in the morning for coffee, juice, danish, fruit, bloody mary's,. No hot breakfast items that I am aware of. Afternoon starting, I think at 4:00 pm, for cocktails and light snacks. Also, did have some wine tasting on our last cruise. Finally, you mingle and get to know a lot of other Elites and that is fun too! Hope you get to enjoy you Elite status soon!! :)
Orator Posted June 17, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 17, 2010 Congratulations on achieving Elite status, you'll love the benefits. Michal's Club is used for the cocktail hours when the number of Elites don't exceed capacity. Sky is used when a large number are on board. Both are very nice. Denny01 Posted June 17, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 17, 2010 We loved the Elite Lounge, both Michaels and Sky Lounge. Not only the free driks and so on, but getting to meet like-minded cruisers! A great way of meeting those that cruise alot, on Celebrity and RCL, and sometimes the Suites were given privledges - depends on how many Elites, i think. But it was great meeting all the others and a great atmosphere to sit and talk, and enjoy. Outstanding service. Remember, although the waitstaff is compensated a bit for the additional work, it's good to tip since there is not any gratuity added to the 'free drinks'. Enjoy!
