Alaska 2006 Intineraries?

Does anyone know when the Alaska 2006 itineraries and prices will be published by Princess?

For some reason, Alaska info is always later than other destinations. Last year they were not available until sometime in June and I suspect it will be the same this year.

Actually last June they did the cruisetour itineraries..it was July before I could get firm itineraries and book just a "cruise". They and Holland America are always later than the others BUT they don't change that much unless they unveil a brand new itinerary.

In the past, Alaska has come out in May time frame with brochures coming out later in the summer.

Its time to start planning for the 25th anniversary cruise.

 

I really want to start in Alaska and end up in Florida with a grand panama. Has anyone done this kind of itinerary?

 

Its either that or a b2b alaska, with a pacific coastal and ending up in LA or San Diego.

Wish the schedules were out. I'm ready now to book this cruise/tour, for my DH's BIG birthday, next year.

We were the first people booked on the Coral May 18, 2006 repo cruise. After we disembark, the Coral will be sailing Alaska. I have had this reservation for a number of months. Maybe they just haven't set the exact schedule??

They have schedules/bookings open through spring '06 repositioning now and they do know (probably exactly) where the ships will be in the summer.. but they just don't release it. When I was a TA we often knew fairly far ahead of bookings opening when and where ships were going to be

When I make final payment for my July cruise in late April, I'll ask my TA when I'll be able to book Alaska for 2006.

Hi ccrain, I called Holland America yesterday and was told that they will have the 2006 Alaska itinerary by May 05. I am planning an Alaska cruise for the beginning of August 06 on the Oosterdam. Keep on checking back with your cruise line. :rolleyes:

Yes. If you do an open booking - you have several years to use it!
