Balcony on the Jewel, 7th deck, E2 forward

The deck plans make it appear that the E2 balconies on the 7th deck forward are bigger than the 41 sq ft norm for that class.. are they?

Perhaps big enought for a chaise lounge?

Anybody got some pics?

Hi Salty - No pictures I'm afraid, but most of them do have one lounger and two chairs.

Yes..they are deeper, but be aware that the privacy divider does NOT cover the entire balcony...the added space is separated by only a railing, not a divider. You and your neighbor will have a fairly good view of each other's balconies!

The picture below was taken from the bridge on the Radiance and shows the forward balconies. The deck 7 balcony is larger with the forward part of the balcony having a low divider with a railing. The covered part of the balcony has a tall divider like the balconies above it.

We’ve had this type of cabin in the past. Yes the balcony is about 2 feet deeper than the standard balcony. As I NEVER consider any balcony to be private, the fact that the 2 or so feet that has a waist high divider, rather than a full divider, was not an issue.

 

I don’t recall if a lounger would fit, perhaps if you remove one chair.
