Virgin America Question...

For any of you who fly Virgin America frequently - can you tell me how often they offer a "promo code" or where they furnish their promo codes? I have been watching a flight for some time and have been hoping to find a promo code to lower the fare, but I have not been able to find one. Thanks.

I rarely see a promo code widely advertised for any airline. Sometimes they are sent out to specific flyers and are targeted to a certain market, and you wouldn't be able to use it if you weren't one of those flyers.

 

I would not count on finding one that significantly lowered your fare. Try using google and see if you can find something.

The one place where I do see airline promo codes/specials these days is Twitter. Jetblue releases its 'Cheeps' on Tuesdays, and recently Air Canada has been releasing some promo codes too.

That's true; I did not think of Twitter. I know UA also will have special Twitter fares, called TWARES, but they are usually limited to one destination, have many restrictions, and are good only for a few hours.

 

You have to find them quickly to be able to use them.
