It may be new, but it's pricey. Rates about $450, which would be over $500/night with tax. Maybe it will show up on Priceline or Hotwire.

Yes - another option - but for $500/night I personally would not choose any hotel at 44th & 8th.

Yes, Carol, but there just may be just one CC member or one person looking for a Manhattan hotel room who may, in particular someone who is an IC Hotel Group Priority Club member. ;)

 

IMO, any new info about any new facilities on the East Coast should be welcomed on this board.

 

There are lots of lurkers on CC and not everyone is interested in hotels mentioned repeatedly here. ;)

It's always nice to have options. While I doubt we could afford a stay here we have loved the IC in Boston - they have a lovely hotel there.

It is nice to have options. If they are a new hotel, they may show up on Priceline or Hotwire for a while. And folks who have points may be able to get this hotel. Sorry if you took my comments the wrong way. IMO $500/night is a pricey option any way you look at it.

Yes - and I think that's plus tax. However, I think it does include both airport and cruiseport transfers.

We are staying at this hotel pre and post cruise begining this weekend. We are using points, a whole lot of them :p.
