My mother was wondering...

Recommended Posts

I think Royal Caribbean has gone the way of most casinos. Only bills can be put in and slips to pay out. The slips can be put into another machine or taken to the casino cashier.

I do miss the sounds of quarters falling out, but with my luck, even if they still paid out in quarters, I wouldn't be hearing much noise, lol.

On our recent Cruise on the Radiance, quarters still rule. Talk about filthy lucre:eek:. After getting our hands all grimy handling those quarters, we finally agreed that sometimes "change" is for the better.

Especially right after you've had your nails done for the cruise!

There is no better sound then the clinking of all those quarters when you cash out. Sorry to see paper is taking over.

I beg to differ..................... I think the sound of the dollar coins falling into the tray is the best!
