Where docked in Portland

Where do the ships dock in Portland? Heard there is an L. L. Bean "outlet" near the town or in town? NOT Freeport location -- Does anyone know about this? Heard it is closing some time in September. Is this in walking distance to the dock?

CC member sopo pirates posted that the Portland outlet store was closing in September. The store is located on Congress St about a 15 minute walk from the cruise terminal . Go to the LL Bean site for a map of the location of the store. The cruise terminal is located on Commercial St.

Yes, it is shutting down. It wasn't much of an outlet to begin with.
