Planning two weeks in Provence...

Staying inside the walls of the old city of Avignon is the place to be if you want to stay in Avignon. But we always warn folks that the only way to explore Provence is in a car. Now whether you want to sell your first-born to pay for a private car/driver, find a cattle car...oops, mean bus tour or simply rent a car is your choice, but trains are useless within Provence.
