We stayed at the Grand Harbor. It's okay, a little tired. We booked it in conjuction with the transfer to the ship prearranged. They knew exactly what to do. We just showed up downstairs at the appointed time. That worked out really well for us.

Right down the street is Ennio's Restaurant. Great location. They have rooms above. It was charming. If I had to do it again, I'd book one of their rooms. Dinner was very good.

I would suggest Southampton Harbour Hotel not to be confused with the Grand Harbour Hotel

A vey new hotel with cinema, offering chauffeur service

Yeah, but grand sounds better, they should have named that one super grand or something, lol. Joking aside,we are sailing on 4th Sept next year (Marella) and the Harbour hotel is sold out already.I then found out,the boat show is on the following week.Even the Ibis was a ott £130.Settled on the Holiday Inn with harbour view for not a lot more.So be warned, book early if sailing in that fortnight.Cheers,Brian.
