When you book you can ask for them to be added to your invoice.

+ side it's all included in your payment and is about $20 cheaper.

-s obviously you can't go to reception and remove them IF bad service etc..

Thanks, I never knew this.

In the UK.....not in the US.

Thanks. Just as I thought...automatic tipping.

Nope. Tipping is not required. http://www2.ncl.com/faq#n19261

The Daily Service Charge is : http://www2.ncl.com/faq#n19262

That's why we're here....just note that it doesn't apply in the US.

Are you sure you can't in the US? That link above on DSC explains how to prepay and I believe that's the American NCL site?

Right..and in the US, it would be $84 now, or 7 x 12 = $84 later, so save nothing.

Hmmm, I never realized, they are kind of "double dipping". They charge you from the day you board and for the full day of disembarkation. Plus they then charge the person(let's say a couple) before you/or after you, so they are really getting $48/1st &last day times 2 or an extra $96. Wish I could keep that in my pocket.

Neverthought

No, you are actually on the ship for 8 days, so 7 logical days and not your last day which is the first of the person after you.

No, they don't.

They charge you for each "night". So day 1 there are no charges. Day 2 there's a charge the 1 to 2 night, etc.

You’re right, they charge for each “night”. Forget about the number of the “days”. Just count the number of “nights”.
