ghoundlvr Posted September 4, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2010 I'm wondering which nights are most likely the formal nights on the following W. Caribbean itinerary: Sat: departure Sun: At sea Mon: Grand Cayman until 4pm Tues: Roatan until 5pm Wed: Cozumel until 5pm Thurs: At sea Fri: Princess Cays until 4pm Also, when is the Chef's Table likely offered? I know that not everyone enjoys formal nights, but I like do, so I would try to schedule other things (like if we try UBD or Sabatini's) around that. There are a few too many things that we would like to try on this cruise (first one on Princess, sailed on RCI before) and I'm trying to figure out how to fit it in! After reading CC boards, I know that it is difficult to get Chef's table or ship tour, but it's worth trying! Thanks! Brenda

1025cruise Posted September 4, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 4, 2010 I'm on a cruise with the same itinerary, I'm guessing the formal nights will be the two sea days.
Coolmama_1 Posted September 4, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 4, 2010 We did this itinerary on the Crown last April. Formal nights were the 2 sea days ( Sunday and Thursday) and they did a Chef's Table on Monday and Wednesday. We were selected for the Monday night Chef's Table and it was fabulous! rdsqrl Posted September 5, 2010 #7 Share Posted September 5, 2010 Brenda, when you get to your cabin, you'll have a schedule there outlining what nights will be formal, just in case the consensus here is wrong (there's always a small chance things can be different for a particular cruise). Also, if you head down on embarkation day to where they're taking reserverations for Sabatini's and the Crown Grill, the person there will have all the menus for the week, so you can see which ones look less appealing and would make a good night to do a specialty restaurant. Good luck getting the Chef's Table -- it's really wonderful!
