can someone tell me how long it takes for the complimentary laundry service. How long after they pick it up is it returned.

 

We are leaving home earlier than the cruise date and will want to avail ourselves of the laundrt service

Have sailed on the Zuiderdam. Some times the laundry was back within 24 hours -- sometimes we got it back in 48 hours. We sail in an SA. Really depends on how busy they are.

We had the bag out on the bed when we left our cabin at 8 AM and it was picked up right away.

I know that they don't have self service for laundry. Is the laundry service on Zuiderdam free of charges?

the op is in a deluxe verandah suite and those the laundry service is free.

 

Otherwise, there is a cost, quite reasonable, you can buy by the item, the bag or for the entire cruise, whatever suits. :D

If your cabin steward has the bag by 9AM, it will be back within 24 hours.

Sometimes, the same afternoon (or evening) depending how busy the laundry is.:)

Would anyone know when the last pick-up for laundry, on a 7 day cruise Obviously we need to get the items back before we disembark!

We have a weeks land vacation after our cruise, so it would be good to get some done just before leaving the ship.

From Alaska, we disembarked on a Sat morning. The last day to send laundry was Thursday. Figuring MANY people with your same idea, they wanted to get it all back to everyone by Friday night. The checked bags had to be in the hall Friday night.

there is also an 'unlimited pressing' package available. very reasonable cost.

We sent out our laundry on the Nieuw Amsterdam, it was back within a day and a half. We were told that it can take up to 48 hours. I was pleased at how quickly it did come back.
