Wilde_37 Posted October 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2010 Upcoming cruise on Millennium - Veranda stateroom booked. The price of a Guarantee Deluxe is reduced and is very tempting. These are listed in the SUITES section of the Celebrity website. Does that mean that it is a guaranteed suite? Any suite would be better than a standard veranda? Hypo Posted October 2, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 2, 2010 Since it is listed under the suites category, yes, it would be. But if you are going for it call Celebrity to be certain. remember, if you upgrade to a suite you will have additional gratuities for the butler. We book S2/S1 and love the additional space, a d butler service.

emileg Posted October 2, 2010 #5 Share Posted October 2, 2010 Remember that some smaller "suites" are just much larger rooms. They are very nice to have as they are 50% wider, have a bigger bathroom and balcony, but aren't actually suites in the usual sense. See this diagram of a Sky Suite on the Celebrity website as an example: http://www.celebritycruises.com/plancruise/ships/cabinclass/cabintype/home.do;jsessionid=0000h48ueV1IUQHBsu_xIqFO1Ky:12hdbcuh7?br=C&cabinType=SS&cabincls=D&shipCode=SM
sandancer Posted October 2, 2010 #6 Share Posted October 2, 2010 Yes we are and yes we know that there is not a balcony but not worried as it is a transatlantic and we have never yet had the full use of the blacony on our previous TA's. Those floor to ceiling windows will be just fine for us.

We once were upgraded to a grand suite on the Brilliance OTS it was Brilliant.
