Has anyone stayed in the RS (8514) on the Enchantment of the Seas

Recommended Posts

My husband and I booked the Royal Suite on the Enchantment of the Seas, for a 12 day cruise next year. Can anyone tell me if it is nice, and anything special about it. Also what kind of perks do you get when you stay in a Royal Suite. We usally book a Grand or Owners suites, and thought we'd try something different for a change.

Thanks in advance!

Hi! I did a search on Enchantment of the Seas Suite 8514 and your cruise critic posting popped up. We are booked in this suite for July 2012 and was hoping you may have some pictures to share of your stay and if you liked the suite (of course I'm sure you did, who wouldn't like a suite). Any and all information you can provide is appreciated.

Enjoy your weekend.

I called and asked C&A and they said a senior officer will greet us after check in, and we will be escorted us to our suite, and in the suite there will be a chilled bottle of Champagne and choc dipped strawberries, along with a fruit and cheese basket.

Don't count on it. We had a ticked off guest services person rush us to our suite (RS) without comment other than "hear it is" and got nothing like Champagne, strawberries, etc. There might have been a bowl of over ripe fruit--no different than we could have grabbed for ourselves at the buffet. We never met a senior officer the entire time except to be scolded by the Captain after a screw up by the concierge booked us onto the wrong bridge tour.

The only Champagne we had was the Dom Perignon I brought along. At least there were a couple of Champagne glasses behind the bar.

Sounds like that guest services person wasn't having a good day. I really have no need for fresh fruit or champagne. I'll just go buy me a boat drink, after all the money we shell out for a cruise anyway might as well drink what I want to drink :D

Thanks for the info. Do you have any pics from when you stayed in a suite. Was it on Enchantment?

Sorry to hear you didn't get treated as well. Who was the conciege on your sailing?

The Conciege (for the life of me I can't rmember his name, but he was from south africa) came and got us in the terminal, and we were the first ones on the ship. He took us straight to our suite even though the rooms were not open for everyone else. We had Champagne chilling in a bucket waiting in the room with a dozen long stemed roses, they change the flowers out every few days on our 12 night sailing. We ate at the Captiains table the second formal night, and it was nice, they even took pictures and sent them to our cabin free of charge. on the days that we tendered the concierge came and got us and took us down in the elevator and saw that we went to the front of the line. He was so wonderful to us, and we made sure he and his team got taken care of as well. I posted pictures on cruise line rooms dot com for all to see.

Sounds like you were taken care of royally. I am going on this short cruise to relax and wanted a bigger balcony. I'm ok without receiving any extra special treatment, but now I'm curious.:)

Hi Janet,

Either way you and your family will have a Wonderful time, and the room is very beautiful & comfortable. We also got a bridge tour, but frankly to me if you've seen one you've seen them all. I enjoyed the back stage tour and the galley tours more.

Have you had a chance to check out the room pictures? I sent you an email with the site.

UH OH!!! I relooked through my email, I don't think I received it and looked through my spam. Is there any possible way you can resend it to me? I would be very greatful.

Yes, I'm sure we will have a wonderful time. We are on the Liberty of the Seas in March and can't wait. I definitely have cruise fever.

Thanks so much and hope you have a great weekend.

Janet
