crzndeb Posted October 5, 2010 #26 Share Posted October 5, 2010 And I remember the days when the upgrades were done at no cost....those days are long gone. Your's is technically an upsell...upgrades cost nothing to the passenger Since it's only $100 total go ahead....I am one of those strange creatures that actually like insides...I have been upgraded to outside and balconies (at no extra cost) before and I still book inside. Have a great cruise...
richfret Posted October 5, 2010 #27 Share Posted October 5, 2010 Why is it worth it? 1. You know if it is day or night. 2. You know if it is raining or not. 3. You can view the port. 4. Depending on the cabin, you can watch sailfish, birds, passing islands and other ships. 5. You get a nice space at the base of the window to store things. 6. You can view the moon and the sea. 7. You get more space. 8. You will know if the ship is moving or not. 9. You can identify Forward from Stern by the moving water. Advantages of an Interior Cabin: 1. If you come on a cruise to sleep, you will like the cave like, absolute darkness.
Maple_Girl Posted October 5, 2010 Author #28 Share Posted October 5, 2010 Thank you everyone for your replies. I was leaning towards the OV, but then DH vetoed. He actually wants the inside stateroom. He pointed out that the $100 could be used towards 2 DOD's a day for the trip. So, we will be keeping our original room. Thanks again!
