Pre-cruise gift

Please remind me how I can buy (myself) computer time before the cruise. I have bought myself this gift in the past, but can not find it on the website. You get more "free";) hours this way.

I'm not doing this anymore. Turns out to be more trouble than it's worth. Why? Because the "free" time you are offered is (was for me anyway) offered during the cruise as well, AND, when you log on (you still have to go and get the log on information for activation from the computer lab), it is very likely that you will be charged anyway.

So, TAKE the receipt (just print out the charge from your credit card statement online) with you so you can show that you've already been charged.

I won't bother anymore...I thought it would save time and I would get extra minutes. Not only did I not get extra minutes, but it took EXTRA time to straighten out the double charges.

Last 2 times I purchased in advance, I got about 15 extra minutes vs the first day deals.

I'd go for it then. I got the same extra minutes on board. I remember saying to the guy at the computer desk, "I thought I was getting extra minutes for taking the time to preorder my internet minutes and you are offering the same thing right now." He said, "yes...it's the same bonus, but some people like to pay for it in advance."

But then I had to show him that I was already charged on my credit card so the charge should be removed from my folio. He said that often happens.

Maybe they have fixed the glitch.

Enjoy!

Sounds like you also need to bring a printout of the Princess ordering page that shows the extra minutes which are twice what is offered on board.

I did have it and I did get the extra minutes as described on the Princess ordering page.

What I am saying is that the SAME offer was being extended to anyone that signed up on board.

Could have been a fluke. Could have been a special deal that day, who knows.

Just watch your folio to make sure you don't get charged again--that's all.

ON their web site they offer web minutes in different increments for different amounts. This is also great for on board account charges and casino money. I have started a fund now for my trip in 2012 that once a month I buy gifts for myself be it 25 bucks web time or on board account time or casino time. The on board account time also includes excursions!!! Very cool
