cluso Posted October 21, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 21, 2010 Flying in Monday (25 Oct) AM, 5 1/2 hour layover, then on to Lisbon. Anybody in the know about the latest on flight/ fuel interruptions? You never know when the media is hyping things up too much! Thanks!
Twickenham Posted October 21, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 21, 2010 Have friends who flew MAD-CDG-YUL on Tuesday. While both flights were delayed, they made their connection (thanks to an alert ground agent at MAD who put them on an earlier MAD-CDG flight). 5 1/2 hours should be enough of a cushion, even for CDG. Rare FlyerTalker Posted October 22, 2010 #3 Share Posted October 22, 2010 I would be regularly checking the AF, KL and DL websites for any announcements. The ADP (airport management) website would also be on my regular browse schedule. Finally, keeping an eye on the AF forum on Flyertalk couldn't hurt. These are sources that are directly concerned with any strike disruptions. Better to get it from the most immediate sources rather than news media that live for "bad news".
