Cruisers Eat here......

In Fort Lauderdale,

Lots of cruisers have dinner here. Casual, informal dining.

It is near Port Everglades.

In the area of 17th street before the causeway....before you get to Marriott (when coming from Port Everglades) NOT 15th Street Fisheries,.

It is well known for seafood.

KrazyKruisers has mentioned she and DH like a special bread they order there.....to ask for it rather than the regular bread basket.

I think the name of the restaurant is two words......

I am going nuts trying to remember the name.

Can you help me out of this looney bin....and you'll be helping others here as it is a good, informal place to go for seafood.

AH yes - the Bimini Boatyard - many times we have been fortunate to eat outside.

We love their fish - sandwiches if we go there for lunch - fish specials for dinner.

Sundays they have some wonderful brunch offerings.

And - oh - we love the Bimini Bread - a big loaf of white bread piping hot out of the oven with a lucious honey glaze. It is listed under the appetizer section of the menu. It is big enough to serve four.

sail7seas - when is your next cruise? Will you be eating there?

I was told the fish restaurant next to Bass Pro Shop real good. Also about a mile is a good mexican restaurant. See, Doone, I remembered that both have great drinks. :p Anywhere else. We have no car as we are flying in day before 3/5 cruise.:)
