How does getting a shuttle to the pier work?

My husband and I will be going on our first cruise March 6 aboard the Ruby Princess. How does the process work after check out of the motel and grab the shuttle to the pier? Thanks for your advice! Donna

Which hotel? Which pier? Could you find out directly from them? Have you confirmed your hotel has such a service?

Ask the front desk when you check into the hotel

Sometimes you need to reserve the shuttle the night before or at least early in the morning

In my experience I have found Hotel shuttles to the pier to be a zoo.

Unorganized and stressful.

 

Do yourself a favor and call a cab. It will be a MUCH better start to your first cruise day.

I agree with John. Our hotel offers shuttle to the pier and it is about 3 miles away. Shuttle costs $8 pp. For the same amount you can take a cab!
