E410 on Ruby Princess

We were just assigned E410 on Ruby Princess. It says the cabin is obstructed view, however, according to the deck plans, we do not see an obstruction. E412 next to us is listed as oceanview and is not obstructed. Does anyone have any ideas what the obstruction would be if it doesn't show a life boat in front of the window?

A good guess would be things like ropes and tackle. Midships on most ships, there's a bunch of stuff like that.

I was assigned that cabin for June and checked into it and it is totally obstructed. The diagramn doesn't show it but there is a big white box that holds some kind of equipment in it and it does totally obstruct your view.

Yes, it does. Cabin E409, starboard equivalent, has the big white box as does 407 and 408. EM
