Best Option for Lunch-Oasis- At Sea

While at sea, lunch is a zoo in Windjammer and Solarium - just no place to sit with 60 couples ahead of you. Park Cafe, Sorrento's and Promonade Cafe also do not have enough seating. So...IMHO the best kept secret is lunch in the Main Dinging Room. Enter level three. You can order off of the menu or have the Tutti Salad, which is made before you eyes; as well as hot buffet items. No waits, more than, repeat, more than ample seating. The food is about 5 grades up from the Windjammer.

Could NOT get toast that wasn't burnt when we were at the MDR.

I agree! We went to the MDR each day for lunch. Quick seating....quiet atmosphere...no rushing around the buffets. Loved it!

You will ave to be agressive to get a table for 2, but you can do it.

I agree! We went to the MDR each day for lunch. Quick seating....quiet atmosphere...no rushing around the buffets. Loved it!

 

 

The MDR is only open for lunch on "at sea" days.

You will ave to be agressive to get a table for 2, but you can do it.

DH and I always request a table for two for breakfast and lunch in the MDR. Never had to be aggressive and never had a problem getting the table for two.
