non ship wifi while in port in Tampa waiting to set sail?

My husband and I will be sailing on the Radiance in March from Tampa and plan to board early as possible. My question is whether anyone has been able to get a wifi signal while still docked instead of using the ship's internet? The ship's hotspots wouldn't reach our cabin which is deck ten aft and we'd love to just hang out there (weather permitting) and finish work emails before we set sail.

We figured that maybe there was somewhere in Channelside or nearby that might have wifi we could ride.

Thanks!

Most new smartphones can act as a hotspot, so if you have one, you can just use that. If not, it might be a good time to upgrade...some good deals on phones out there now.

I just use my phone as a hotspot when I need one. It's convenient, and fast.
