Are two taxis best option for family of 6 MIA to POM?

Unless it has changed in the past month or so it was a flat rate of $24+tip, not $25. Two cabs should do it for 6 of you and the ride takes under 15 minutes unless you hit traffic. ;)

 

If you have little ones car seats are required by law -- tip your driver extra to cover the time he spends installing and removing your car seats. :cool:

You can get a van to hold all of you. The fares r posted on the side windows, they r in zones. When you call for a cab, request a van.

Not sure the van could hold all 6 plus bags - don't forget the driver needs a seat! -- unless they travel a lot lighter than my family members do. :o

I alo think you will need 2 taxis, we use a taxi van for our family of 4 and luggage and know that we would not be able to fit 2 more people.

If I'm not wrong, taxi fare is about $30 dollars and you will need 2.

Depends on the van. I have seen big ones. Ford Econoline style. Ask the dispatcher.
