My first cruise on the old "Elegant Explorer" ms Prinsendam was in 1975. My latest on the Prinsendam was the fabulous "Top of the World" cruise July 2010. Love the smaller ships.

Just wanted to mention I entered the transatlantic writing contest. I emailed my entry just a few minutes ago. I don't expect to win as our story is not very creative nor particularly memorable but i had fun writing it. I included in the email a scanned photo of my father carrying me (11 months old) and his viola off the gangplank with my mother walking just behind. We were on the SS Rotterdam in 1968. :)
