will773 Posted February 21, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2011 I agree. Whoever decided to put the balconies on the outside and make them all glass was truly a genius! It looks so much better than metal!

Ocean Boy Posted February 21, 2011 #5 Share Posted February 21, 2011 Maybe. But form our experience on both ships Explorer shines. Part of that, I'm sure, has to do with the ship being our first experience on a Voyager class ship. However, our experience with the crew was also far better on Explorer. And, yes, I realize that crews change. Our dining room experience on Mariner was very sub-par. I won't go into the details here. I also thought that some of the art work on Mariner was horrible. Especially that found in the forward stairwell. And yes, I also realize that perception of art is also a very personal thing. I do prefer the setup of the Windjammer on Mariner.
