1/2 moon cay cabana rental for 2?

Hi there. My hubby and I are going on a cruise in June for our 10th anniversary. Its just the 2 of us. Is it worth it to get a cabana or should we just opt for the clamshell?

No one can answer if something is going to be worth it for you, as we don't know you. Instead, I would read the many threads here about cabanas here and decide what you like. It boils down to what your expectations are. If you want a little area that is your own, a sort of privacy, yet still have the beach, a cabana is good. We loved our cabana and will get one every time we are at HMC.

 

Others are just fine with laying out on the beach. Many are comfortable with the clamshells, but if you don't set them up just right, they can get hot.

This will be our 3rd trip to HMC and we've booked a cabana everytime. This will be the first time that it will be just the 2 of us and we'll be celebrating our 31st anniversary. We love the cabanas. You will have soft drinks, water, fresh fruit, veggies, and chips and salsa. You will also have float mats and snorkle gear. We love having a place that is ours for the day and we have a place to store all of our stuff. I wouldn't want to go to HMC without having one.

I just booked a cabana for the 2 of us on our cruise in May. It's our honeymoon and I figured a splurge was totally acceptable. I say go for it.
