Adaptor plugs

I've just noticed my adaptor plug says 'European' on it. Will it be O.K onboard Royal Caribbean 'Legend'? Hope this isn't a daft question, but I really have no idea.:confused::confused::confused:

I would buy an adaptor that is for the US and take both just in case. I have not sailed on Legend but have needed a US adaptor on most of our cruise ships other than P&O. I would also suggest that you take a 4 plug extension strip as then you can recharge batteries etc at the same time.

I believe most ships have both a European and US outlet available. I know Holland America does. I always bring along my European adapter so that I can use both! If you can get a US adapter, I would highly recommend bringing one.

Thanks - sent DH out for a U.S one today, but he's come back with another European one. I expect I will be able to get one at the airport or maybe in Singapore or onboard the ship.

I think we got them at B&Q, or maybe Argos. If you're flying, often at the airport.

The Legend of the Seas will have two 3-prong US outlets at 115V. There will also be one European 230V outlet. All will be 60hz

I have never needed an adapter on a ship (I have on shore). The plugs will either be US or both US and European (this is based on HAL, Celebrity, Carnival, Princess and RCL).

Hi..the OP is from the UK, so it will be different plugs to both of those sockets.
