Realblonde474 Posted March 2, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2011 We have almost 500 in "onboard credit"...could you please tell me some good (and perhaps "wicked") ways that we should or could use these? Thanks! We are sailing on the Soliste the first week of April
Rare C-Dragons Posted March 2, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2011 To start have some Creamy Chocolate Martinis in the Martini Bar... They're wicked good! :D
JFontaine Posted March 2, 2011 #3 Share Posted March 2, 2011 When I had more on board credits than I could use I bought four Frette bathrobes (this was on Crystal, but the suites on Celebrity have them too, so you might be able to purchase them - and they were about a third of the price than in the Frette stores). Of course, your on board credit wouldn't go far in the spa. Botox?
sammyt Posted March 2, 2011 #4 Share Posted March 2, 2011 Your gratuities, Excursions, Pictures if you get them, wine tastings, if you enjoy wine, speciality resturants. It will go fast.

spacetraveler Posted March 2, 2011 #6 Share Posted March 2, 2011 I am not a gambler other than pulling the one arm bandits. Could you please tell me how can I get the chips out of my account, say for Black Jack, and later on redeem the chips into cash? I don't mind loosing a few percentage. barjolov Posted March 2, 2011 #7 Share Posted March 2, 2011 I haven't been on Celebrity before but on the other ships you could charge money to your onboard account, then play a couple of times on the slots, cash in and then take the cash and buy chips for blackjack, etc.
firstplacechef Posted March 3, 2011 #8 Share Posted March 3, 2011 They usually charge a fee to get cash from your OBC
Rare Lois R Posted March 3, 2011 #9 Share Posted March 3, 2011 Those credits will go onto your account so whatever you buy will just be deducted from the total. Try some new drinks, try a new massage, try a couple of the Specialty Restaurants, try a new wine,....oh yes, your gratuities are charged to your account as well. Did I mention trying one of the fabulous drinks in the Molecular Bar?:) Enjoy your cruise:)
bchoi Posted March 3, 2011 #10 Share Posted March 3, 2011 I would buy something nice in the shop. Maybe some jewelry, cosmetics, or alcohol. All duty free.
tuggers Posted March 3, 2011 #11 Share Posted March 3, 2011 $500 will go very quickly!:D Those Chocolate Martinis are $12+, a hot stone massage is approximately $150 + 15%, a decent bottle of wine is $40 + 15%, etc. Buy all the pictures taken during the entire cruise for $300. You get the idea!
