No difference in the room service for breakfast that I am aware of (and yes, we book the suites).

however, you will be 'invited' to go to the Pinnacle Grill for breakfast instead of the MDR. This is so nice. You can easily have a table for two.

Same menu, but just a different ambience and I think you will enjoy the service.

Enjoy the suite life and if you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. hope i helped a bit :)

I understand that the room service breakfast menu is the same, in all cabin categories.

If you desire something that is not listed on the menu, you can write it on the form,e.g. oatmeal etc.

The Pinnacle Grill is not used for breakfast on the Volendam.

Deluxe Suite and PH guests may enjoy breakfast in the King's room, which is situated next door to the Main Dining Room, Upper level.

It is quite a pleasant breakfast room. The staff from the Pinnacle Grill serve the breakfast in this venue.

If you just want a light breakfast, cereals, breads, pastries, fruit, yogurt etc are available in the Neptune Lounge. There is a toaster in the Neptune Lounge on the Volendam.

There were no tables for two in the King's Room on the Volendam.

At our only experience of breakfast in the King's Room, we were seated at a table for six, the other people communicated by grunting.

We did not risk a second encounter!!

We really would prefer a table for two.

When we were on the Rotterdam, it was the same set up. (not sure if it was the King/Queen's lounge - but same thing) We actually enjoyed it there very much. We lucked out cause we could have both breakfast and lunch there back then.

We loved having the same waiters and our table mates were all very interesting - well travelled and enjoyable.

we had a great time there.
