Rare erewhon Posted March 13, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2011 Thank you for posting the daily fleet locations. Looks like a lovely sunny day for the Volendam in Sydney, before she starts her journey northwards.

Cruizer Bill Posted March 13, 2011 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2011 I have not been to St. Barts. Is there much to see there? I just got off the Noordam and they no longer have the days of the weeks on their elevator floor mats. Bill
trvlcrzy Posted March 13, 2011 #5 Share Posted March 13, 2011 I just got off the Noordam and they no longer have the days of the weeks on their elevator floor mats.Bill I don't believe the Vista class ships ever had the floor mats. For our first HAL experience, DH and I sailed the Zuiderdam, and when I read about floor mats, I thought... "How did we miss that?" Then I read an explanation that the tradition was adopted from another cruise line (HAL bought a ship from them or something like that???). Only the R and S classes had them... but I hear they've brought them back for the Nieuw Amsterdam. I haven't heard about Eurodam. We've been on Zuiderdam, Amsterdam, Statendam, Ryndam, Ryndam.
