TITISSA Posted March 26, 2011 #26 Share Posted March 26, 2011 Couldn't have said it better myself. Totally agree :).
Debde Posted March 26, 2011 #27 Share Posted March 26, 2011 This is what you get: Port Canaveral 1pm-11pm, Nassau 2pm-midnight, and Cococay 8am-5pm. I think they do listen to people, and they hear everyone saying, "I cruise for the ship!" Therefore, why not make more money on crap itineraries where you can make the most money? Looks like the pricing on that cruise has already been lowered. I put in 2 people with no special pricing parameters and 'deals' were coming up for all categories. 2 people in an inside can go for $1518 total (plus taxes and fees). For the itinerary I look forward to Cococay but for sure would rather have seen Key West on this sailing. Not sure for a 7 day out of NJ leaves too many other options. I can only sail winter and a 7 nighter is my limit to currently be able to escape work. Where else can they sail to and fit in a 7 nighter  Being I can drive to this one-I will play the game of sit and wait for a bit. Hope to see prices come down even more. I'm so used to booking so earlier for flights that I am going to like seeing how waiting works.
patseacruiser Posted March 26, 2011 #28 Share Posted March 26, 2011 I wanted to book the holiday sailing and then found out it was 2 - 7 nighters with kind of crappy itineraries since I've done them, redone them and am doing them again this summer and don't want to B2B it for the Christmas/NYE holiday. It's not how I envision my Christmas holiday - in Nassau. I want Caribbean.
pegasusa Posted March 26, 2011 #29 Share Posted March 26, 2011 I just got off the Allure this past week and the Loyalty and Cruise Ambassador told us that Explorer was definitely moving out of Cape Liberty this year. She stated she had no idea what ship will replace her. And we heard the same thing while on the Explorer May 2009. Goes to show you can't believe everything you hear. They could cruise around at night so they could open the casino. The other 2 stops, with those times, are a waste.
hansolosmom Posted March 26, 2011 #31 Share Posted March 26, 2011 On that cruise you're at sea except days 3, 4 & 5. This is what you get: Port Canaveral 1pm-11pm, Nassau 2pm-midnight, and Cococay 8am-5pm. I think they do listen to people, and they hear everyone saying, "I cruise for the ship!"
