Question about Last Minute Cancellation

Hi everyone,

 

Wondering if anyone can answer my question or have been in the similiar situation before.

 

We have 3 adults and 3 kids (age 10, 12 and 15), and booked three double-occupancy staterooms. Now it seems one of the adults might not be able to go, in that case, one room will only be occupied by a child (15 years old). Will Princess refuse to give us three rooms on embarkation since their policy requires each stateroom has to have one adult? Or maybe they will ask us to change to one double room and one triple, but how if they don't have any triple room at that time?

I would not wait until day of cruise. Contact whom you booked with as soon as you know that adult is canceling. More flexiability onboard the sooner you request changes.

That scenario is very likely and as the prior poster said, you should contact your booking agent immediately upon knowing that person will cancel..

Definitely contact your TA or Princess.

You'd definitely want to be changed to a triple cabin (even if it's not nearby) as the single passenger would be charged at a single rate (which is 150%-200% of the regular rate). :(
