List Of Where Your Favorite CD Might Be?? (merged)

I would also like to know who is the new CD on the Navigator will be. I hope he or she will bring back the horse races and horse auction. I don't think Graham liked holding them. When he was still with Princess and we sailed with him on the Caribbean Princess he didn't put much effort into it.

Post your question on this board. Folks who know who the current CD is often know his/her schedule too. We found out about Becky and Kirk by word of mouth on this board.

Read on another thread that he will take Becky's place on MOS later this month. She replaced the CD we had in March, James Andrews.. LOVED HIM!

I had heard such great things about Becky that I didnt feel bad about not having James,,but anyone familar with this Kirk person??

We have had him as a CD twice. First time we loved him, second time he was an arrogant jerk :( Not sure why the change, but he just was cocky seven months later.

 

We will have him as a CD again in September. Hopefully the "old" Kirk is back.

 

Aside from his personality he is a great CD concering his "job". His staff was always fun and friendly, the activities he plans are great.

He is our least favorite CD of all. We had him on AOS and found him to be as Bobbie described him above (cocky, arrogant jerk). I am so disappointed that he is replacing Becky beginning with our sailing next Sunday.

We had him on AOS as well. We really enjoyed all his activities and his cohorts (Tracey?). Keep an open mind.

We had Kirk a few years back and I have to side on the "arrogant jerk" side of the page. He was hawking his own personal CD at EVERY event he hosted, seemed very unprofessional. He was willing to be your best friend if you bought a copy, otherwise he couldn't be bothered speaking to you.

 

Hope for your sake he has matured and adopted a new perspective.

Just got off the Grandeur this morning and Gavin Brown was the CD. Ho-hum!!

Will Jim be CD on Freedom for the Member Cruise 10/15? Or is it vacation time for him going on 3 months replacing Ken Rush, who should be with Liberty.

 

James andrews will be there, he is getting off a couple of weeks later and ken rush is joining the week we are getting on. I talked to ken about it back in june and he told me. I love james andrews, we had a great time with him a a cd and he is a lot of fun and all over the ship. But ken rush and looking forward to cruising with him in november.

Thanks so much for posting this list. Does anyone know where Peter Benfield is? Is he still with RCI? He's our very favorite! I notice that Pierce Ivan is on the Radiance which is our next cruise. I'd like to hear some comments as we think the Cruise Director sets the tone for the entire sailing.

I am going on the EOS on 10/6. Hopefully A. Brooks will be back by then. He started his vacation in the begining of Aug. and it should be a 2 Month break.

^ ^ Agreed - we talked with him in May and he said he was looking forward to going back home (Vancouver) for August and September. Assume he will return to work in October.

According to a review of the AOS for 8/13-20, this was Simeon Baker's last cruise as CD before going on vacation. No word on who is taking over.
