Sign up at Guest Services when you get on the ship. Some ships take 12, some take 15 and if there is a large number they sometimes do more than one. Or they draw for it. When I did it there was 10 of us, I asked why so few, it was the 2nd UST that day.:)

 

 

Hope we get to do this on our cruise in June..... Really think it would be cool.

It is the plush robes they sell for $90 in the gift shop. LOVE IT!!

 

Thanks...a good deal for anyone who wants to purchase plush robes. Usually similar packages (UBD about $100 of extras for $50 more than the Crown Grill, etc) offer some good deals. :)

We did the UST on the Golden and LOVED it. We signed up at the purses desk when we first got on board. I wish we had known we could take photos. Here are the photos they took for us (they are included in the price) and delivered with your goodies.

Plush robes are great, 4 photos, lots of information, food and drinks, chefs jacket, q&a with the captain, so much fun. I highly recommend it. Dh and I enjoyed ust on the crown a lot. We also saw a whale and a school of dolphins from the bridge...awesome!!

Since you said it was a $45 robe could you confirm it was the thin robe & not the plush one sold for around $85 in the gift shop...thanks.

 

Most of the time, the UST participants get the plush robe.

 

When we took the tour on the Crown a couple of years ago, they gave out the waffle-weave robe instead. I do not know why.

We did get the plushier robes, not the waffle ones. As part of my creative accounting though, I used the lowest Robe price available - sorry for the confusion :)

Went on the UST on the Grand in February - as others have said - it

was WONDERFUL - and well worth it -

We plan on signing up for it again - on our up-coming cruise on the

CB - figure it's a different class of ship - we might see other things !!
