The Grand Princess has arrived!!

She sailed into FLL about 10:15 tonight ..... gliding up the channel ..... silently ..... lights glittering. She looked very majestic, and enormous! What a beautiful sight!!!

I watched it too...from here in Los Angeles. Technology and satellites are some of the amazing fetes of man and his/her ideas and vision!!

Wishing all those going on the TA blue skies and calm seas..have a wonderful cruise.

It has been fun watching the videos on YouTube of the overhaul. I was amazed at how fast they got as much done as they did.

We saw her this morning, coming over the draw bridge on 17th Street. She looked ... naked. :p

Not that I know of... there is one in Long Beach that watches over the Queen Mary and the Carnival dock...

I am in a hotel near the port. I can see GP from my window. Unlike most of last evening, I saw smoke starting to rise From her stacks about 20 minutes ago. she is now pulling away from the dock. Bon Voyage!
